I wander a lot around the city. Mostly on breaks from the office to keep me from getting cubicalitus. Most of my photos are from downtown, but I float around the area alot.
All the photos here were taken with my iPhone’s Hipstamatic app or Instagram app. If you don’t know of this app, it’s a photo manipulator kind of thing. You can change the lenses, flashes, and film to alter the look of your iPhone photos and give them a fun, retro kind of feeling.
There is also reblogged stuff from other people and random thoughts from my boring office life.

I took up knitting last week. Everyday I’m getting better! I made this last night in about 2 hours! I’m giving it to a friends baby girl for her 1st b-day at the end of the month.

My class put on Little Shop when I was in elementary school for the school play. I was Audrey II. I was awesome!

Edgar Allan Poe (right) appears in the oldest-known photograph taken inside an American museum, the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, itself the oldest natural science museum in the Western Hemisphere.
It doesn’t look like Poe to me, but I guess I never met him so how would I know?
I am proud to be a former employee of the academy of natural sciences. My 3 years there was an incredible experience. Sadly, I did not get to me Edgar Allen Poe lol.
